What should I do after a car accident?

Here are some questions to answer and steps to take after you have been in a car accident

Is the Car Safe to Drive?

  • Is something hanging off?

  • Is it leaking fluid?

  • Does it drive correctly?

  • Did the police or tow company say it’s not drivable?

  • If you were in another accident would the car still keep you safe?

Contact Your Insurance Company

  • It’s important to inform your insurance company of the accident

  • The insurance company is responsible for reimbursing the cost of repairs based off your policy coverage

  • Depending on your policy coverage your insurance company may pay for the rental car and/or help with the towing

If The Car is DRIVABLE

  • Your insurance company may want to do their own cost estimate

    • Some companies will come to our shop and do their own estimate

    • Some companies will want to do their own cost estimate before bringing the car to our shop

  • Some companies will use our repair plan and cost estimate

IF The Car is not DRIVABLE

  • Your car can be towed to our facility

  • You can meet the rental car company at our facility

ONce at Our Shop

  • Our staff are trained and focused on the best interest of you, the client

  • They will carefully look over your car and can give you an estimate for repairs

During the Repair Process

  • Our team will keep an open line of communication with you during the repair process to help guide you through the process until you are back in your vehicle

Once the Repair is complete

  • We guarantee our workmanship. Although we seldom have warranty issues, should one occur simply return the vehicle to us to correct the situation
